John J. Schultz, 74, a lifelong of Leroy Township, passed away Aug. 1, 2010, at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital.He was born April 22, 1936.Mr. Schultz worked as a printer and retired from First Forms in Cleveland.He married Jeanne Mansfield July 26, 1965. She preceded him in death June 2, 2006. Mr. Schultz served in the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed golfing, bowling and billiards. He was also a member of the Chardon Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2261.Survivors are his sons, Michael Schultz of Leroy and Charles Schultz of Leroy; brother, Robert (Pat) Schultz; sisters, Elizabeth (Phillip) Hines, Nettie (Marvin) Rodgers and Mary (Carl) Welch; and many nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary (nee Ceva) Schultz; wife, Jeanne (nee Mansfield) Schultz; 10 brothers and sisters.Private family services were held. Burial will be held at Chardon Municipal Cemetery.Donations suggested to the family for funeral and marker expenses.Arrangements are being handled by The Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Chardon.
