Services: Private family services will be held. Visitation: Monday, June 21, 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 8:00 PM., Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Mr. Mader was the Owner/Operator of a Snap-On Tool distributorship for 5 years. He previously served as a Field Manager for Snap-On Tools. Mr. Mader was an avid John Deere Tractor fan. He and his children restored antique tractors and showed them at tractor competitions. Mr. Mader was a “Motor Head ” working on engines, cars and tractors. He was a 1982 graduate of West Geauga High School. He enjoyed spending time out of doors. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and their annual trips to Tennessee, to visit family. He is survived by his wife Suzanne “Sue ” (nee: Lawton) Mader of Chardon Twp., whom hemarried June 24, 1989 in Windam, children Kelly Anne Mader and John Cody Mader, both at home, parents: John and Eileen (nee: McDermott) Mader, sister Connie(Chris) Knop of Garrettsville and In Laws Gerald and Irene (Tucker) Lawton of Chardon. His grandparents Jack and Mary Jane Mader are deceased.Memorials: Donations are suggested to the family for the future education of his children.
