Jerry “Jake” Kazsuk age 58 of Munson Twp. was born on December 10, 1953 in Chardon. He was a lifelong Geauga County resident. He died on March 15, 2012 peacefully at Heather Hill with his family by his side, after a battle with cancer.Jake was the owner and operator of Kazsuk’s Service for 40 years. He married Patricia Kozelka on March 7, 1997 in Chardon. Jake enjoyed gardening, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of The Chardon Eagles Aerie # 2261.Survivors include his wife, Pattie of Munson Twp., his beloved dog, Buddie, sisters; Bonnie (William) Kilvanick of Burton, and Paula (Christopher) Tomkin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, brother, Scott Kazsuk of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, niece, Amber Kazsuk, brother-in-Law, Edward (Jan) Kozelka of Huntsburg, sister-in-Law, Jackie (Geoff) Cigany of Newbury, and several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome L. and Betty J. (Sly) Kazsuk.A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 8:00PM at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
