Janice L. (nee: McMaster) Neely

Age 93, of Chardon, passed away surrounded by family at the Slovene Home in Cleveland, OH on January 10, 2020. Janice was born on June 12, 1926 to Thomas and Florence (nee: Peshek) McMaster in Chardon. On September 18, 1943, she married William Neely in Marysville, CA before he went to World War II. Janice worked for GE during the war but spent most of her time as a homemaker, raising three sons.

Her hobbies included painting landscapes and animals, she also restored furniture and refinished rocking horses. Janice liked to cook and bake, and above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Survivors include her sons: William (Patricia) Neely, Jr., John (Barbara) Neely and Thomas (Rhonda) Neely; grandchildren: Michael, Christine, Donna, Timothy, Travis, Stephanie and Autumn; 14 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, brothers, Richard and Walter, and sisters: Mary and Linda.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William, her parents, two infant siblings, brothers: Thomas, William, Robert and Jack, and sister, Gloria.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to your favorite charity.
