Janet Ann (nee: Tregenna) Smith, age 68, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on her birthday, December 11, 2021.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late William and Helen (nee: Elko) Tregenna.

Jan was a 1972 graduate of Baptist Christian Upper School, and in 1973, she completed the secretarial program at Bob Jones University.  After graduation, she was a secretary for the Reliance Electric Company in Euclid, where she met her husband.  For the past 46 years, she has been a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was also a member of the Huntsburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Smith, of Chardon, OH; her children, Jennifer (Justin) Pearson of Murfreesboro, TN, and David Smith of Windsor, OH; and her grandchildren, Jamison, Jesslyn, and Juliana Pearson  and sister, Mary Beth (Bob) Miller of Crossville, TN .

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Radebenko and Pastor Todd Lozier officiating.  Interment will follow at Mentor Municipal Cemetery.
