Jim was an active member of the Western Reserve H.O.G. club and spent many years touring America via his Harley Softtail Springer and Dresser. Through his travels he attracted many friends around the country and became involved in the Bonneville Nationals Speed week. As he was preparing to retire from Swagelok after 25 years he became interested in sailing – joining the North Coast Singles Sailing club. After retiring he thoroughly enjoyed wintering in Ft. Myers, Florida on his sailboat spending many hours sailing the sounds, the river; anchoring in the many coves and further developing friendships. Jim lived his life his way – full throttle and will be sorely missed by many. He is survived by his wife Patt (McClain) Romask of Kirtland, whom he married July 5, 2006 at Hospice House in Cleveland, 2 sons from his first marriage Jim (Erin) Romask of Chardon and Tim (Jill) Romask of Middlefield, grandchidren Nick, Madison and Mike of Chardon, sisters of choice: Jeanne Kissinger of Kirtland, Tish Pearce of Kirtland, nieces Michelle and Amy Wallach of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Ruth Romask.
