James M. Armstrong age 59 of Willoughby, OH died August 6, 2010 at St. Vincent’s Charity Hospital in Erie, PA. He was born on March 27, 1951 in Detroit, MI and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Armstrong was a truck driver and worked for various area businesses. He attended Riverside and Eastlake High Schools. He enjoyed cooking and had a BBQ wagon that he took to area fairs and festivals. Jim was known for his pork sandwiches and BBQ chicken. He was an accomplished wood worker. Survivors are his parents, Joann (nee: Mack) (Noel) Myers of Mentor, OH, Daughters; Ashley and Melissa Armstrong, Sons; James Michael Armstrong, Jr. & Michael James Armstrong, Brothers; Timothy (Sue) Armstrong of Newbury, Bradley Armstrong of Erie, PA, and Jeffrey (Rosemary) Myers of Chardon, Special Friends; Helen, Nick and Tom, Aunt Carol Fryan of Concord, OH and Uncle Cliff Mack, Jr. of TexasHe is preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Armstrong who died in 1963, Grandparents: Clifford (Edith) Mack and Robert Armstrong and Mae Armstrong-Kelly and Aunts, Helen Mack and Barbara Burns.
