Jaclyn Elaine (Dolezal) Gibaldi (1938-2011) A memorial service for Jaclyn Elaine Gibaldi, 72, of Chardon, will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on State Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Mrs. Gibaldi passed away Jan. 2, 2011, at home.Born June 21, 1938, in Cleveland, she was a Chardon resident for the past 38 years.Jaclyn (Dolezal) married Vincent Gibaldi Jr. on Jan. 10, 1959, in Cleveland. She enjoyed recreational gaming activities with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family was the most important priority in her life.Jaclyn was a secretary at Geauga Hospital for 30 years.Survivors include her four daughters, Dawn (Matt) Rittwage of Chardon, Susan (Mitch) Williams of Rock Creek, Lisa (Matt) Zindash of Chardon and Lynn (Bob) French of Hambden Township; one son, Vince Gibaldi of Middlefield; five grandchildren, Danielle and Amanda Rittwage, Jesse and Jared Williams and Brandon French and sisters, Georgina (Nick) Imbrigiotta of Brecksville and Betty Ann (Ben) Maulorico of Parma.She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Gibaldi Jr., who died Jan. 2, 2009, and parents, James and Mildred Dolezal.Visitation will be 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Chaplain Robin Imbrigiotta will officiate. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Chardon Municipal Cemetery.Donations may be made to the family.
