Rest in peace Godmother- Effie. I have fond memories of you when I was little.

I met Effie when she came to Collinwood for Jr. High School. She was a good friend of my future wife Judy Speidel. Our group shared dances, skating at Euclid Beach, YMCA camps and many high school activities. Effie introduced us to a Greek wedding when one of her sisters was married. Effie was an organizer and served on many reunion committees. When her husband Tom passed away Effie graciously introduced us to the younger members of her family. They treated us with great kindness. When my wife Judy passed away one of the first calls I received was from Effie. With great sympathy, Karl Smith

I will miss my partner in crime. We had so much fun planning our Fourth of July Parade. And, of course, the play you orchestrated was a blast! We also got our American Flag ??. I will treasure our friendship and the sharing of our Thrift Store finds. RIP dear Effie.

Effie you will be missed. I loved texting you pictures of my GSP! You and my mom had so much fun together at the apartments. I loved hearing about the Effie and Mary Ann stories! Amazing how you and my family had so many ties, but never met until the move to Chardon. Great memories.? RIP Cookie Loczy
