Howard Dale Schwarzman was born on April 7,1938 and passed away on October 5, 2022.
Howard grew up in Madison, Ohio and frequently reminisced about his life growing up on the farm. Howard later moved to Willoughby, Ohio and spent about 20 years there during the time he worked at TRW until he retired and moved to Lodi, Ohio.
Howard proudly served in the U.S. Navy, on the ship the U.S.S. Shangri-La from 1957 to 1961. Howard often talked of his time in the Navy, and fondly recounted his experiences. In later years, Howard helped plan various Navy reunions for his shipmates that he served with on the Shangri-La.
Howard attended the Americade Motorcycle Rally for many years and was an avid motorcycle rider. He enjoyed his many different trips and outings on his bikes throughout the years. Howard also enjoyed mining for gold in southern Ohio, and traveling to Las Vegas.
Howard was preceded in death by his father, Howard Schwarzman, his mother Laura (Kleps) Schwarzman, as well as his sister, Claudia (Schwarzman) Schulz.
Howard is survived by his beloved sister Laureen (David) Imrie. His children, Bret (Julie) Schwarzman, Pricilla (Bob Anthony) Schwarzman, Mark (Nicole Nichols) Schwarzman, and Tami (William Stamatelos) Mester. His grandchildren, Rhysmicheal Schwarzman, Katherine Starr, Nicole Starr, Kaylee Lupica, Jerry Schwarzman, Jillian Mester, Joshua Mester, and Sophia Cromie. His great grandson Kieran Schwarzman, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Howard was loved, and will be missed by many. The family will have a private service and gathering at a later date to celebrate Howard’s life.
