Hedwig Maria Korbonits, Age 98, of Newbury Twp., peacefully passed away on November 4, 2019 in Geauga County. Born October 15, 1921 in Gratz, Austria. She came to the United States in 1956. She was married to Laszlo Korbonits who preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Lindsay (Ray) Halkovics of Brecksville, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband, son, Laszlo in 1982.
Visitation will be at the church Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12:00 p.m. held at the St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury, Ohio 44065. Interment will follow at Munn Cemetery.
The family suggest donations to the Geauga County Senior Center, for their home delivered meals program, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon, Ohio 44024.
