She was a life-long resident of North East Ohio, spending the last 21 years in Chardon.She had been a High School English Teacher at Ledgemont High School for 21 years. Prior to Ledgemont, she was a teacher with the Sisters of Notre Dame in Munson Township for 24 years.Miss Trombley loved to travel and has visited Europe numerous times, on her own and as a chaperone with her students. She was adored by her nieces and nephews, and always took them special places. Miss Trombley attended all of their sporting activities. She was very active with the American Cancer Society “Relay for Life” Geauga County, over the past 5 years, always having Ledgemont teams and a family team in the event. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians.Miss Trombley was a strong influence on many students over her numerous years of educating. Many of whom remain in contact with her.
