Funeral services for Glenn Ford Fisher, 50, of Orwell, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at North Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 8840 Park Dr., North Bloomfield.Mr. Fisher died Oct. 23, 2006, at University Hospital in Cleveland.Born Sept. 20, 1956, in Warren, he had lived in Burton until he moved to Orwell two years ago.He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and playing all kinds of sports. He coached his three boys sports teams while they were growing up and was currently teaching his youngest son how to hunt and fish.Mr. Fisher was a carpenter and before becoming sick, he had worked for the Tim Yoder Construction Company.Survivors are his sons, Brandon Fisher of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Burton, Christopher Fisher of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Burton; and Jeffrey Fisher of Burton; mother, Martha M. Fisher of Sarasota, Fla.; brothers, Eli (Doris Wossum) Fisher of Pulaski, Tenn., Fred Fisher of Parkman, and Dwight (Samantha) Fisher of North Bloomfield; sisters, Barbara (Brad) Mack of Bryan, Mary Lou (Bob) Bentfield of Champion, Diana (Ivan) Bridgewater of Bradenton, Fla., and Linda Fisher of Sarasota, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife, Lisa A. Fisher of Burton.His father, Eli D. Fisher; and sister, Eileen Kaye Duncan, are deceased.Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Rt. 44, 500 ft. south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Pastor Jodi Baker of the church will officiate the service. Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery in North Bloomfield.
