Glenn D. Fry died July 7, 2009 at Heath Hill Rehab Center in Chardon, OH. He was born March 8, 1934 in Perry, PA and moved to Ohio in the late 1950’s. In the years following he lived in Wickliffe, Willoughby, Montville, Bristol and Chardon.Mr. Fry was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a security guard at Euclid Corp. in Euclid for 29 years and later worked as a security guard for several years at Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Middlefield before retiring in 2005.He enjoyed hunting and loved to read, especially “Westerns”. He liked watching the Sports Channel and, in recent months, spent time at the Chardon Senior Center. He was very proud of his family and their accomplishments and enjoyed spending time with them.Survivors include his sons; Glenn Fry, Gary Fry and Ronald (Linda) Adams all of Chardon, daughter, Elaine (Robert) Rainone of Mentor, brother, Ronald (Connie) Fry of Tennessee, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Audrey Solnick of Bristol and daughter-in-law, Jenny Fry of Chardon.He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Irene (Adams) Fry; his beloved wife of 22 years, Susan (Adams) Fry; his son, Thomas Fry, daughter-in-law, Karen (Hauser) Fry, brothers; Truman and Ralph Fry, and sister, Dorothy Carocci.
