Mr. Denniston died June 30, 2006, at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Township.Born Feb. 7, 1909, in Cleveland, he was a lifetime resident of Geauga County, growing up in Chester Township before moving to Munson and finally Chardon.He was active in many types of sporting activities in his youth and loved to spend time with his family.Mr. Denniston was the longtime owner/operator of both Denniston Milling Company in Fowler’s Mill and the Denniston Cartage Company in Burton.Survivors are his sons, Robert L. Denniston of Fort Lee, N.J., and George D. Denniston of Chardon; grandchildren, Jason Denniston of Montvale, N.J., Gareth (Sandi) Denniston of Saylorsville, Pa., and Kara Denniston of New York, N.Y.; and great-grandchild, Lilliana Denniston of Saylorsville, Pa.His wife, Lillian (Kobliha) Denniston; and parents, Daniel and Jessie (Sheriff) Denniston, are deceased.
