George “Bud ” E. Snider age 80 of Chardon, OH. He was born on May 1, 1930 in Louisville, KY and had lived in Geauga County for 40 years. Mr. Snider died on August 9, 2010 at UH Main Campus in Cleveland.He worked as a machinist and retired from Jerpbak Bayless in Solon. He most recently working at Quality Farm and Fleet in Chardon, now TSC.He married Gladys Freshley March 1, 1952 in Cleveland, OH and Served with the US Army during Korean War. He enjoyed fishing and wood working. His greatest love was spending time with his friends and family.Survivors include his wife, Gladys (nee: Freshley) Snider of Chardon, daughters: Denise (Jeff) Hayes of Chardon and Cathy (Dale) Keiter or Mentor, sons; George E. Snider, Jr. of Wickliffe, OH, Charles Snider of Flovilla, GA, David (Debbie) Snider of Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH, and Walter (Alysia) Snider of North Bloomfield, OH, 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren, Sister, Dorothy (Ray) Tanno of Concord, and Helen (Joe) Smargiassi of Mayfield Hts, Brother, Clifford (Lucy) Snider of Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephewsHe is preceded in death by parents, Edward and Florine (nee: Wright) Snider and sister, Juanita Lindic.A Memorial Service will be at 6:30 pm Monday, August 16, 2010 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 110 Woodiebrook Rd. Chardon, OH 44024Visitation is 2-4 pm on Monday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon, OH and 5:30 to 6:30 at the Kingdom Hall prior to the service.
