George A. Brown Funeral services for George A. Brown, 71, of Newbury Township, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square)Chardon. Mr. Brown died October 7, 2010, at home. He was born August 26, 1939, in Cleveland, he had resided in Newbury for the past 30 years and had previously lived in Eastlake. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Mr. Brown worked at Fisher Fazio’s for 45 years and retired in 2000. Survivors are his daughters, Amy (Jamie) Green of England and Kathee Brown of Burton; sons, George (Helen) Brown of Eastlake and Ken (Diana) Brown of Atwater, Oh.; grandchildren, George, David, Ahren, Katie, Shane, Chassidy and Lindsay. He was preceded in death by his wife Carole A. (Papesh) whom he married January 16, 1960, in Garfield Heights; parents Ralph and Catherine (Wagner) Brown and sister, Sally Balog. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Munn Cemetery in Newbury Township. Arrangements by The Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
