Age 76 of Chardon passed away peacefully Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the home he shared with his wife of 31 years, Rosemary. Born August 30, 1934 in Cleveland, he attended Cleveland schools before joining and serving his country proudly during the Korean War as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. Returning to Cleveland, Fred joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 38. He was recently honored as a 50 year member of the local. Retiring in 1996, Fred and Rosemary moved to Daytona, Florida to pursue sunshine and a passion for golf. The couple returned to the Chardon area in 2004 to spend more time with their children and grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Marion(nee: Smith) and Albert Tarbet. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (nee: Brennan) whom he married April 24, 1980, and sons Jim (fiancee:Tiffany); Jeff (Diane) and Robbie (Brianna) Kinkopf; David (Marla) and John Walczak. He was cherished and will be greatly missed by grandchildren TJ and Brooke Kinkopf; Gabby Millikin; Ozzie Lee Kinkopf; Melissa and Samantha Kinkopf; Audrey, Ryan, Josh and Nick Walczak.
