Frank C. Rakoczi, age 74, of Newbury Township, passed away peacefully at his home on February 20, 2005. Born August 18, 1930, in Windber, PA, he lived in Garfield Hts., prior to moving to Newbury 24 years ago. He was a Plant Manager for Westport Axel in Cleveland for 15 years, retiring in 1999.Mr. Rakoczi was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of St. Helen in Newbury. He enjoyed the outdoors – hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding ATV’s. He treasured most the time he spent with his grandchildren.Survivors include: His wife, Mary Ann (nee: Csotty) whom he married at St. Margaret’s Church in Cleveland, on April 23, 1955; daughters, Kathleen Stolarski, Nora (James) Slivka of North Royalton, Marie (Matthew) Morgan of Newbury Twp.; grandchildren, Andrew, Carrie and Evan Slivka, Noah Stolarski, Michael and Mark Morgan and Brett Reilly; brother, John (Carol) Rakoczy of Novelty, OH; and sister, Rosemarie (Tony) Szabo of Pennsylvania. His parents, Frank and Rose (nee: Iswack) Rakoczy preceded him in death.The family has suggested contributions be made in his memory to the Church of St. Helen’s Building Fund, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury, OH 44065
