He preceded in death on October 7, 1991She was a member of Lighthouse United Methodist Church, in Claridon Twp., OH.She had been a long time member of the former Montville United Methodist Church where she had served as treasurer and was active in all church activites.She had worked in the Dietary Department of Geauga Community Hospital for over 15 years and then continued to volunteer for 5 years.Mrs. Morehouse had worked as a clerk for the former “Hoffman Store”, now the Montville County Store, for over 20 years.She was active in the Thompson and Montville Granges and the Montville-Thompson “Happy Gang” Seniors, having served as president.Mrs. Morehouse loved both vegetable and floral gardening.Survivors include her 2 Daughters: Elsie (Ronald) Bender of Matlacha, FL and Bertha (Ronald E. )Baldwin of Ashtabula, OH;1 Son: James (Claudia) Morehouse of Austinburg Twp., OH; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren;1 Sister: Betty Harvey of Garrettsville, OH;1 Brother: Ralph Mausling of Geneva, OH;Several Nieces and Nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Elsie (Nee: Toussaint) Mausling;Husband: Merl M. “Barney” Morehouse;1 Sister: Charlotte Mansfield;3 Brothers: William, Stuart and Kenneth Mausling
