Mrs. Baker was a 1937 graduate of Chardon High School. She attended the Ohio State University before graduating Nurses training at St. Luke Hospital. She was an active member of Pilgrim Christian Church, Chardon, especially Women’s Fellowship. For many years, Mrs. Baker coordinated church dinners and fundraising activities. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland until the early 1950’s when she became the first School Nurse at Chardon High School. She is survived by her Husband: George L. Baker of Chardon, daughters Martha Baker of Miami, FL and Anne (Mike) Greenway of Bend, OR, sons Mark (Shirley) Baker of Munson Twp., George (Susan) Baker of Russell Twp. and Scott (Susan Tolley) Baker of Tempe, AZ,sisters Elizabeth Kramer of Commerce City, CO, Ruth Grube of Willoughby Hills, brothers Robert Lampman of Claridon Twp., Kenneth (Helen) Lampman of Mesa, AZ, Keith (Susan Kirby) Lampman of Madison Twp., Ronald (Lou) Lampman of Moultrie, GA, Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Her son Charles Baker, parents Robert E. and Mabel (Burnham) Lampman and brother Donald Lampman are deceased. The family suggests donations to Women’s Fellowship, Pilgrim Christian Church, 202 S.
