Mr. Stange was a 1947 graduate of Willoughby Union High School. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Korean War. For over 50 years he was a member of the Masonic Lodge Fraternity. Mr. Stange enjoyed taking his family camping on weekend trips, canning vegetables and cooking, especially his “killer” soup. He enjoyed trying new things; making wine, candles and helping his wife with ceramics. His family desribes him as a “jack of all trades, master of none.” Survivors include hisdaughter Cindy (Mike) Golitko of Madison, sons James E. (Carole) Horvath-Stange of Seven Hills,and Thomas L. (Jane) Stange of Painesville,14 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, sister Katherine (Floyd) Duhl of Rome, andbrother John (Dorothy) Stange of Chardon. His wife Wilma (nee: McDaniel) Stange and parents Leroy James and Marian Bell (nee: Cox) Stange ae deceased.
