EDWARD LOUIS GRENNAN, Age 75, died peacefully at his residence at Heather Hill Care Communities, Munson Township, on December 25, 2018. He was a lifelong Chardon area resident. He was born July 14, 1943 to Alexander Louis and Vinnette Ione (nee: French) Grennan. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. Edward was a member of the American Legion Post 167, where he served as the Post Commander and County Commander. Member of the Hambden Snowmobile Club for seven years. He was recognized for his many years of blood donation to the Red Cross Association.
He is survived by his daughters, Paulette Grennan of Newbury Twp. and Deborah (Robert) Watson of Chardon; Step-Sons, William (Debra) Dudinsky, Glenn (Terri) Dudinsky and John (Jennifer) Stowe; Former wife, Mary Lou Grennan; Brother, Alexander Grennan of Andover; Sister, Katherine “Kitty” Anne Wright of Columbus, step-sisters, Karen (Phil) Pentz and Linda (Lawrence) Stoltz, and was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren and Best Friend, Frank (Wendy) Skolaris.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abundant Life Church of God, 14662 Old State Road, Middlefield, Ohio 44062.
