Edward F. Cseplo, 89, of Troy Township, passed away Aug. 1, 2009, at his residence.Born Feb. 2, 1920, in Shalersville, he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Geauga County in 1951.Mr. Cseplo was the founder of Troy Manufacturing Company Inc., a company he started in 1952. He retired in 1996, but it is still operating successfully today.He served on the Burton Board of Education was a member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce. He loved organic gardening and fishing and enjoyed the peacefulness of nature. Mr. Cseplo was an animal lover, especially dogs and horses, and was an avid bird watcher. He was a fan of thoroughbred horse races. He and Elizabeth created a scholarship at St. Mary’s School in Chardon around 1989, and was a supporter of many charity programs that were designed to help people.Survivors are his four daughters, Jane E. Young of Cleveland, Mary E. Cseplo (William Ward) of Newbury Township, Christine A. (Walter) Stenzel of Unionville, Conn., and Jeanne M. Cseplo (Keith Horvath) of Munson Township; three sons, Robert E. Cseplo of Concord Township, Thomas P. Cseplo (Carole) of Troy Township, and David S. Cseplo (Sandra A.) of Bainbridge Township; 22 grandchildren, Steven Cseplo, David Millhof, Michelle Millhof, Cheryl Millhof, Ronald Millhof, Ricki Lynn Urban, Robert Cseplo Jr., Jeffrey Cseplo, Kimberly Cseplo, Lon Cseplo, Marcie Ganier, Mandy Ramsey, William Dornback, Everett Cseplo-Ward, Alexis Stenzel, Jeffrey Stenzel, Alison Miller, Paul Cseplo, Jennifer Cseplo, Jaime Cseplo-Adrian, Elizabeth Cseplo-Adrian and Kevin Cseplo-Horvath; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Kobrick of Dearborn, Mich.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Long of Chardon; and brother-in-law, Robert (Bertha) Popovic of Madison Township.His first wife, Elizabeth Rose (Jacko), whom he married Aug. 10, 1940, passed away Feb. 2, 1997; and second wife, Margarite Bacon Nolfi, whom he married Dec. 16, 2000, in Chardon, passed away Aug. 4, 2006. His parents, Paul and Regina (Kinkoff) Cseplo; son, Edward A. Cseplo; granddaughter, Michelle Dornback; sister, Margaret Slavic; and two brothers, Robert and William Cseplo, are also deceased.Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
