EARL E. BUSHEK

Earl E. Bushek, age 95 of Newbury and previously of Cleveland passed away peacefully at his home, March 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Dorothy M. Bushek (deceased); loving Father of Dan (Cathy), Bruce, Tom and Scot all of Newbury; cherished Grandfather of Shawna (Chad) Ogint, Chelsey (Mike) Eminger, Heather Bushek and Lindsey Knight; Great Grandfather of Mason, Ava, Adalyn, Grayson and Ellery. Brother of the late Jim (Ann), William (Ruth) and Leonard (Myrtle) Bushek. Son of the late Joseph and Mary Bushek. 

Earl was a World War II Veteran . He served our country as a Marine in the Pacific and was awarded two Purple Hearts for his injuries when he took on enemy fire on two separate occasions. Earl and his family never missed a Memorial Day parade in Newbury and looked on him proudly as he honored his brothers and sisters who had fallen before him. He spent his years with the Cleveland Water Department where he retired after his many years of service. Earl was a man of great kindness, bravery, generosity, humor and love. He always jumped at an opportunity to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. To know he has been reunited with his great love, Dorothy puts our mind at ease. He was as good as they come and will be deeply missed by all.
