Dozer Dwight was a neighbor of mine 25 years ago while I still lived on Cherry St. with my 2 children. He became my dear friend and we shared many a laugh, ,many beers and an occasional card game. . I was a single mom at the time working full time and attending Gannon full time and Dwight volunteered to type all of my school papers for me. I would supply the content and he would produce a finished paper. And every single paper that he completed for me came with a critique and that laugh and a shake of his head bewildered that I could actually score an A. He was one in a million. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing.

Dwight was blessed to have a great family. They treated me as one of their own and invited me along on family vacations. Dwight and I rode dirt bikes together as teenagers, drove his dad's 396 Camaro to Ft. Lauderdale on Spring Break and shared many other adventures together. One of my favorite memories is when Dwight called me from Erie one evening. He said, Mike, I rented an RV and have two girls to come along. We will be by to pick you up. We're going to the Indianapolis 500. My only question was what time will you be here. He will be missed by all. Love to you Robbie and Dwight Sr. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I met Dozer many years ago at a loved corner bar called Scotty’s. It was more then a bar, we were the house band there & celebrated so many life occasions together. He was my neighbor on west 9th for many years as well & there was lots of back & forths to the houses. So many great memories, so many good times, I will truly miss his presence in this world. Travel well my brother, we will love & miss you until we join you. Stevie T
