Donna Jean “Bonnie” Burt, age 67, of Painesville, passed away on September 25, 2022, at her daughter’s home.  Born July 2, 1955, in Cleveland, OH to Neil Fulton and Annie McKenzie (nee: McAllister) Burt. Donna grew up in Chardon, OH, graduating from Chardon High School, Class of 1973.  She had lived in Conneaut, OH before moving to Painesville.

Donna was a Workshop Specialist for the Ashtabula Board of MRDD/Ashcraft Sheltered Industries for 25 years. She was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Conneaut before transferring her membership the Geauga Aerie #2261, where she served as a Trustee of the Auxiliary.  She loved watching her son and grandson play baseball along with being a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Donna loved animals especially dogs and hedgehogs! She enjoyed taking road trips with her daughter and grandson to watch and support her daughter participating running races.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Glaus of Conneaut, and Joseph Burt of Painesville; grandson Ethan Glaus of Conneaut; brothers, Kenneth Burt of Montville, and Neil Burt of Chardon; and a sister, Deborah Burt of Montville Twp. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Bennett.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. An Eagles Auxiliary Memorial Service will be followed by the Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m.
