Debra L. (nee: Garten) Stefancin, age 53, of Hambden Twp. was born April 18, 1957 in Charleston, WV. She was a seventeen year resident of Geauga County and had previously lived in Lyndhurst. She died unexpectedly April 7, 2011Debra married Daniel on April 3, 1985 in Chardon.She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors.She is survived by her husband, Daniel of Hambden Twp.; mother, Maxine Stone of Mentor; children, Lynn (Matt) Flyer of Highpoint, NC, Nicholas, Jason, and Ryan Stefancin all at home; sisters, Joyce Bowers of Madison, and Janet Rice also of Madison; and brother, Michael Garten of Mentor.A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011at 6:00PM at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, OH. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 4-6PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hambden Twp. Cemetery.
