Debbie rocks!
This beautiful woman enjoyed life to its fullest and left a huge impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her!
Debbie performed countless, selfless acts of love and kindness for family, friends and strangers alike going above and beyond mere mortal ability.
Debbie worked full time as a nurse, cooked many wonderful and a few near disaster meals, baked grape pies to perfection, collected cats and washed a zillion loads of laundry all while caring for her longtime love, Rob and their awesome and difficult at times to manage children; Matthew, Jacob, Jared, Meaghan, Hanna and Jamie, all of whom she had the deepest affection for.
Debbie and Rob, traveled, rode motorcycles, ziplined, watched 5,000 movies, bickered, drove each other crazy, made each other laugh hysterically, shared many tender moments and loved one another passionately!
Rob and the kids will miss Debbie tremendously along with her parents Bill and Albie Phelan, brother Bill (Carrie) Phelan, sister Jackie (Eddy) Ujcich and many nieces and nephews.
Debbie loved her friends and family with intense loyalty to which all will attest and she knew without a doubt that she was truly blessed to live such a rich and satisfying life.
Debbie was a true angel and heaven has gladly opened its gates for this beautiful child of God.
The world is a lesser place without her.
Please come help us mourn Debbie’s passing as well as celebrate her life!
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day, Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury, Ohio with burial immediately following at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township, Ohio. Afterwards, a luncheon will be held at St. Denis Party Center, 10660 Chardon Road, Chardon, Ohio.
