David A. Hamrick, age 55, of Burton Village was born July 6, 1955 in Cleveland. He was a resident of 18 years in Burton after living in Lake County. He passed away January 11, 2011 at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital. He worked for a tree trimming service. David married Sara (nee: Christian) Hill on June 6, 1992.HIs survivors include wife Sara (nee: Christian) Hamrick of Burton; step-son Daniel Hill of Eastlake; mother Cora (Frank) (nee:Beck) Grasso of Painesville Twp.; step-Mother Pauline Hamrick of Willoughby; brothers Paul (Barb) Hamrick of Sheffield and Stephen (Becky) Hamrick of The Woodlands, TX; niece Leta (Tim) Deithloff and her two Children Tyler and Avery; nephews Paul and Alexander Hamrick. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Hamrick and grandmother Evelyn Hamrick.A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday Jan. 22, 2011 at 1st Congregational Church of Claridon 13942 Mayfield Road. Huntsburg, OH 44046. Friends and family can call between 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service at the church.Donations are suggested to the family.

Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time soon when God will do away with death forever. There will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. Please remember that during Jesusâ€™ ministry, he healed the sick and resurrected back to life on earth many that had died, giving proof of his power over sickness and death. Jesus made a promise to all who have lost loved ones in death at John 5:28, 29 which reads: â€œThe hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.â€ Yes, Jesus Christ promised that all those in Godâ€™s memory will live again under beautiful conditions like the Garden of Eden. May this bring you peace.

Dear Sara, We saw in the paper that your husband Dave passed away. We assume this was unexpected. Our deepest sympathy to you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the weeks and months to come.We will be out of town this week-end and unable to attend the memorial service.
