Cristin Joy “Cicil” McGill, 44, died, Monday January 14, 2019. She was born February 14, 1974 in Painesville, Ohio, to Diane Shestina (nee: Borelli) and Michael J. McGill. She is survived by her parents, two sons, Salvadore and Sebastian Acevedo, and her former partner and children’s father, Fernando Acevedo, as well as her loving boyfriend Todd Thozeski.
Also surviving are her sisters Michelle (Mike) Copeland, Margot (Steve) Goodlive, Melinda (Bisa Romero) Malec; brother Shane McGill; many nieces and nephews Olivia (Zach), Chloe (Kyle), Whitney, Sophia, Lily, Cameron, Noah, Quinn, Josephine, Isabelle, Charlie, Jackson, Brady and Cristian.
Cristin was a loving and devoted mother, a wonderful friend and sister with a quick wit and mischievous sense of humor, and amazing person who will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (on St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, Ohio 44024. A private memorial service will follow.
