Claudia Morehouse

Claudia Morehouse, age 61, of Austinburg, died Aug. 12, 2010, at Austinburg Rehabilitation.She was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Louisa, Ky. and was a longtime Austinburg area resident.Mrs. Morehouse worked numerous jobs in the Ashtabula area.Claudia Kirk married James Morehouse Oct. 7, 1967, in Montville.She enjoyed photography, bird watching, camping, and fishing on Lake Erie. Her greatest love was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandsons.Survivors are her husband, James Morehouse; daughter, Nanette (Gerald) Stanley of Tipp City; son, Michael (Elizabeth) Morehouse of Barberton; four grandsons; her mother, Ann (nee: Marcum) Kirk; two sisters; one brother; and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, James Kirk.Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on State Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
