Claudia F. Springer

Claudia F. Springer (nee: Ede) age 68 of Concord Twp., OH died March 2, 2012 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts., OH. Born June 16, 1943 in Cleveland, OH to Claude and Florence (nee: Mayou) Ede, she lived in Munson Twp. for 39 years before moving to Concord Twp. 7 years ago. Mrs. Springer was a loving wife and mother. Claudia Ede married William “Bill” L. Springer, Jr. in East Cleveland in 1961. Claudia’s most treasured accomplishment was being a loving wife and mother to her 4 beautiful children. She and Bill were founding members of the CCSA, (Citizens for Chardon School Activities), raising monies for extra curricular activities at the high school. She helped organize and run the Bingo games. Claudia is survived buy her husband of 50 years, William L. “Bill” Springer, Jr. of Concord Twp., OH; children: Claudia Springer of Hambden Twp., OH, Annette (Ben) Slane of Hambden Twp., OH, Carol (William) Kenley of Germantown, TN, and Susan (Darel) Taylor of Concord Twp., OH; grandchildren: Jessica (Jim) Humes, Jason (Resha) Vatty, Kristine (Mike) Sheets, Kevin Vatty, Erin (Nik) Wheatley, Morgan Slane, Jack Kenley, Grace Kenley and Luke Taylor; great grandchildren: Skylar, Cheyenne, Caden, Abigail, Bradley, Bryce and Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son Michael Springer.
