Charles K. Walsh Sr., 63, of Hambden Township, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at his residence.Born Nov. 7, 1946, in Frostburg, Md., he had been a longtime area resident.Mr. Walsh had worked as a supervisor at TRW, retiring after 37 years in 2002.Charles served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Mr. Walsh was a dedicated worker but enjoyed wood working making Adirondack Chairs when he had time. He was absolutely dedicated to his family, spending as much time as possible playing with his granddaughter.Survivors are his wife, Lois A. (McNeice) Walsh, whom he married Nov. 9, 1968, in Chagrin Falls; son, Charles K. (Denise) Walsh of Huntsburg Township; granddaughter, Elizabeth Walsh of Huntsburg Township; and sister, Debora (Kenneth) Marckese of Claridon Township.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty (nee Arnold) Walsh.Pastor Micah Holland of the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield will officiate.Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
