Cecillia Jane Gullo, age 19, of Chardon, died suddenly at home on December 19, 2021.
She was born October 17, 2002, in Mayfield, OH, the daughter of Timothy and Janet (nee: Nelson) Gullo. She grew up in South Euclid and moved to Chardon in 2014 and attended Chardon schools where she participated on the swim team and graduated from Chardon High School in 2021.
She spent summers working as a lifeguard and cashier. She enjoyed Music and Photography. Despite being so young she found time to travel to many destinations throughout the country. Cecillia was a joy to all who knew her. She had a genuine love and concern for others. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet, and her maternal grandmother, Helen Nelson
Cecillia is survived by her loving father, Timothy, her brother and best friend, Timmy. She also leaves her boyfriend, Jeremy Johnson, her maternal grandfather, William P. Nelson, and her paternal grandparents, Mary Gullo, Joe and Shirley Gullo., several aunts and uncles, Anita Thomas, Angela Gullo and Joanne Gullo, Mary (Doug) Pruneau, William (Lisa) Nelson, Susan (Jeff) Young, Karen (Kevin) Koski, David (Natalie) Nelson, Terrence (Christine) Nelson, Joseph Nelson and Michael Nelson and cousins, George, James P., Jacob, Rachel, William, Luke, Katie, Andrea, Marc, Joseph, Nicholas, Patrick, Anthony, Michael, Jeffery, Anna, Renee, James K., Audrey, Olivia, Carolyn and Ryan
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, OH 44024
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 North Street, Chardon. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Cecillia’s memory to Geauga Dog Shelter,12513 Merritt Road, Chardon, OH 44024.
