Bruce A. Stevenson

Bruce A. Stevenson age 85 of Newbury Twp., OH died January 16, 2012 at Hospice House in Cleveland. Born April 4, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to Alva and Gladys (nee: White) Stevenson, he had been a resident of Mayfield and Richmond Hts. prior to moving to Newbury in 1985. He worked as a construction contractor after serving in the US Army during WWII. Bruce A. Stevenson married Alvera M. Jagush April 21, 1949 in KY. She preceded him in death February 22, 2003. He enjoyed horses, racing cars and collecting cars and motorcycles. His greatest love was spending time with his family. He is survived by a daughter Gayle Morrison of Atlanta, GA; son Bruce (Yulonda) Stevenson of Hartsgrove, OH; grandchildren Heather (Michael) Fenstermaker of Newbury Twp., OH, Staple (Tara) Gierke of Painesville, OH, Brent Morrison of Atlanta, GA, Chase Morrison of Atlanta, GA, Ashley Morrison of Atlanta, GA, Bruce Stevenson, Jr. of Hartsgrove Twp, OH, Chad Stevenson of Hartsgrove Twp., OH; great grandchildren Michael & Liesel Fenstermaker of Newbury Twp., OH, Wyatt Morrison of Atlanta, GA, Nash Gierke of Painesville; sister Shirley (Elmer) Vitek of Highland Hts., OH and brother Ken (Winifred) Stevenson of Ashtabula, OH. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Alvera M. (nee: Jagush) Stevenson; daughter Darleen M. Gierke; his parents; and his brother Harold Stevenson.
