Beverly “Betsy” Rae Marsic

A 55 year resident of Montville Twp., passed away at her home on Monday, August 5, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland, OH, to Harold and Lillian (Nee: Anderson) Wiegand. Betsy had been a homemaker, supporting her husband, Bob, whom she married on May 16, 1953, in Cleveland, OH and raising her children. They owned the “B & B Farm” where she was an avid horse rider and groomer and loved the farm life and gardening. She had been the choir director at the Montville United Methodist Church for over 30 years. Betsy loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and enjoyed putting on large family gatherings. She was loved by all, and known to have a great sense of humor, loved her dog “Chance” and loved playing bingo at area churches.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen L. Willard (Marty), Lydia D. Schmitz (Charlie), and Bobbi J. Marsic; sons, Bud R. Marsic (Dawn) and James H. Marsic (Laura); 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Russell E. and 1 sister, Virginia Olson.

A Visitation will be held on August 15, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
A private family burial will be in Montville Township Cemetery.
