Betty J. Cunningham, 86, of Richmond Heights, April 18, 2011, at Heartland of Mentor.Born March 23, 1925, she had lived in Connecticut and Chardon prior to moving to the Richmond Height area in 2000.Betty Rickert married Paul Lucht in 1944, and then Henry Cunningham in 1963. Both preceded her in death.Betty had worked as a medical secretary.She attended the Federated Church of Chagrin Falls, had a passion for music and was an avid gardener. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family.Survivors are her daughters, Pamela Johnson of Chardon and Sandra Klima of Mentor; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mildred (Norris) Rickert; brother, Bob Rickert; and sister, Delores Meyer.Celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Federated Church of Chagrin Falls, 76 Bell St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.Private interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.Donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to The Norling Memorial Prayer Garden or the Department of Music, each c/o Federated Church of Chagrin Falls, 76 Bell St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.Arrangements are being handled by The Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
