Betty Ann was amazing. Everybody loved her. She was one of the best cooks and dedicated years of her life to Newbury United Community Church, hosting fundraisers, international dinners, Fall Smorgasbords, soup and sandwich stand at the craft and clutter sale. She also worked in the snack bars at Punderson Golf Course and Fowlers Mill Golf Course (formerly TRW Golf Course). If there was a family dinner to be had Betty Ann was involved and making way more food then necessary. Her home was the place for all to go for a great meal and just to hang out. There was always family and if you were not family you were treated as such. Her apple pie was famous and when the church had a fundraiser people would bid up to $60.00 for the chance at winning one of her extordinary apple pies. Her goal was to feed the world. She was kind, welcoming, generous, fair, funny, feisty, and Carolines music critic. She always did the right thing. She loved her ice cream and her dogs.
