Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Pilgrim Christian Church, Chardon, where she had been active in the church choir. She also volunteer for the Geauga County Public Library, delivering books to the Amish Schools.Mrs. Alexander studied French Horn and vocal music at the Dana School of Music in Warren, and won several superior ratings at state music competitions.She had been a member of the all girl Fadettes Concert Band in Warren.Mrs. Alexander had played the French Horn in the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and was a charter member of the Geauga County Fair Band. She was a graduate of the Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Warren. She is susvived by her husband Robert A. of Munson Twp.,daughter Sharon (Robert) Owen of Tehachapi, CA, grandchildren David Autore and Lauren Owen, sisters Gladys VanDorn of Phoenix, AZ, Evelyn Haney of Alliance, OH, and Norma Emerson of Brighton, MI.Her parents are deceased.
