Barbara E. Latimer, 76, a homemaker, of Plymouth Township died at the Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula.She attended the Plymouth United Methodist Church and enjoyed hand crafts, making stuffed animals and fancy doll clothing, especilly for Barbie dolls. She also loved traveling to Florida to visit family. Her grandchildren were one of the most important loves of her life.Ms. Latimer had been a sales clerk in the ladies department of the Ashtabula Kmart for six years. She had also worked as a custodian for the Plymouth Elementary School for six years.Survivors are her daughter, Pennie (Richard) Dougherty of Claridon Township; grandchildren, Sharon (Rob) Shaw, Richard A. Dougherty Jr. and Brandy (Byron) Harper; great-grandchildren, Megan, Alexandria and Michael Shaw and Hunter and Austin Harper; sisters, Mina Colucci of Ashtabula and Marcia Lane of Orange Park, Fla.; and brothers, Gordon Glatz of Kissimmee Fla. and Jerry Glatz of Spring Hill, Fla.She was preceded in death by her parents, John Jospeh and Doris Thelma (Bates) Glatz.The Rev. Henry Woodruff PhD, of the Chardon United Methodist Church will officiate the service. Burial will be in Claridon Center Cemetery of Claridon Township.
