Mrs. May was the founder of the Auburn Town Crier. She would type them and her husband would run them on a Mimeo Graph Machine and she would hand deliver them to all the residents in Auburn Township. She enjoyed collecting antiques; she had several antique consignment shops over the years. She and her husband have a concession stand and travel all the local fairs and festivals locally since 1971. She was the Secretary for the Shaker Hts. Board of Education Library Department for more than 20 years retiring in 1968. She then worked for B&M Industries in Auburn Township for 13 years. She is survived by her husband: Ralph “Wimpy” May of Auburn Township, whom she married in May, 1959. Her daughter Becky (Dave) Messner of Newbury Twp., son Jon (Jen) May of Twinsburg;grandchildren Molly, Seth, Ian and Gavin; sisters Marcella Taylor of MO and Betty Lou Herrington of Mantua, and brother Paul (Cheryl) Bryant of VA.
