Barbara A. Allyn (nee: Kish) age 77 of Garfield Hts. and New Lyme died Jan. 25, 2014 at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg Twp. Born Aug. 7, 1936 in Cleveland to Steven and Julia (nee: Poster) Kish, she had been a lifelong area resident. Barbara graduated from Cleveland State with a BA in Urban Studies. She was a licensed practical nurse who cared for elderly in the area. She enjoyed traveling, adventures, being outdoors and gardening. Survivors include her daughters Cathy (Keven) Prather of Chardon, Karen (Paul) Farmelo of Eldred, PA. and Charlotte (Abby Coykendall) Croson of Ann Arbor, MI; sons Michael (Amy) Croson of New Lyme, Gary (Charlene) Croson of Mentor and Robert (Jeannine) Croson of Ravenna; grandchildren Adam Farmelo, Sara Prather, Alex Prather, Emily Croson, Aaron Croson and Anna Croson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Kish and sister Lilian Rutledge. Services are pending. FUNERALSVC: 11am on Wednesday Jan. 29, 2014 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST.
