Annette “Annie” M. Edgington, 63, of Montville, passed away May 11, 2011, at UHHS of Cleveland.Born Oct. 7, 1947, in Painesville, she had been a lifelong area resident.Annie retired in 2005 from the Geauga County Courthouse, where she had worked for 25 years.Annie married Chuck Edgington Oct. 23, 1965, in Monroe, Mich. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Thompson. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends and especially cruising.She was survived by her husband, Chuck of Montville; son, Chuck (Kelly) Edgington Jr. of Richmond Hill, Ga.; daughter, Teresa Edgington of Chardon; grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer)Edgington, Brandon (Melissa)Edgington, Corey Weyandt, Nichlas Edgington, and Chandali Edgington; one great-grandson, Jackson Edgington; sisters, Johanna Davison of Chardon and Barbara (Jim) Hoag of Michigan; brothers, Richard (Cindy) Blanyer of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Dennis Evans of Geneva; one aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews;She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Blanyer and Lillian (Harry) Evans; son, Clinton Edgington; and brothers, Richard Evans and George Blanyer.Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson.Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, OH 44086.Information and online condolences at www.burrservice.com.

My deepest sympathies to Annie's family. When I visited the courthouse, Annie always had a smile and a willingness to provide help. She was much appreciated and she will be missed.

No one could give hugs like Annie, and she had so many to share. The last time I saw her was at Corey's graduation party. I will always remember her big smile and her wonderful laugh. My thoughts are with you and your family, Teresa.

What a wonderful hugger she was. I will miss her smiling face and go go attitude. She did a terrific job doing my wedding reception. Was so nice coming to work at the courthouse and seeing her bright face. I will miss you at the Reverse Raffles Annie. You were one of a kind and I will miss you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. So sorry. Mrs. Edgington will be missed by all.

Her smile,hugs and candy always greeted me as I came into work, or whenever they were needed. She was an angel on earth, may she always surround us.

I was introduced to my Fathers family at 19. Annie was very accepting of me and always had arms wide open. she visited me on more then one occasion and left a great mark in my heart. Every one of my family members in Las Vegas, like myself adored Aunt Aunnie. 5/11/11 was a very cloudy day for many of my family members here. We will greatly miss you Aunt Annie. My tears dont seem enough for how much I miss you. I am sorry I cannot make your service. I love you.
