Annette “Annie” M. Edgington, 63, of Montville, passed away May 11, 2011, at UHHS of Cleveland.Born Oct. 7, 1947, in Painesville, she had been a lifelong area resident.Annie retired in 2005 from the Geauga County Courthouse, where she had worked for 25 years.Annie married Chuck Edgington Oct. 23, 1965, in Monroe, Mich. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Thompson. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends and especially cruising.She was survived by her husband, Chuck of Montville; son, Chuck (Kelly) Edgington Jr. of Richmond Hill, Ga.; daughter, Teresa Edgington of Chardon; grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer)Edgington, Brandon (Melissa)Edgington, Corey Weyandt, Nichlas Edgington, and Chandali Edgington; one great-grandson, Jackson Edgington; sisters, Johanna Davison of Chardon and Barbara (Jim) Hoag of Michigan; brothers, Richard (Cindy) Blanyer of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Dennis Evans of Geneva; one aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews;She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Blanyer and Lillian (Harry) Evans; son, Clinton Edgington; and brothers, Richard Evans and George Blanyer.Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson.Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, OH 44086.Information and online condolences at www.burrservice.com.
