Anna (nee: Arendash) Cripps, 86 returned to Our Lord on July 12, 2012. “The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.”Beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Cripps, mother to Ralph T, Janet (Massick), Deborah Chapman, Peter , Father Deacon Robert E J Cripps, Dr. Jeanette Spreng-Cripps, Rebecca Wiseman, Richard. Adoring grandmother to Connor, Amber, Joseph, Anna and Alexandra. Great grandmother to Artemis, Moira, Apollo, Athena, and Alanna. Sister to John (deceased), Mary Speidel (deceased), Joseph, Steven (deceased) and Paul. Graduate of Pittston Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She was employed at Medina General Hospital for 33 years in nurse management. She was EMS coordinator for Medina County. Ann was most proud of the fact with her encouragement many EMT’s and nursing assistants moved on into a career as registered nurses. Ann believed in giving back to her community and was an active volunteer in the following; the Brunswick Hills Fire Dept, American Red Cross of Medina County, Medina County Emergency Management Education Board, Legion of Mary, Rose Society, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Camp Paradise, Red Bird Mission, Medina Senior Center, as well as many nursing organizations. Memorial mass will be held at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Newbury on August 18, 2012 at10am. A celebration of her life will follow at her former home, 14733 Aspen Hills Ln, Burton.
