Mrs. Ash was a graduate of Huntsburg High School. She was a member of the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon and served as the secretary/Treasurer of the PTO of Chardon High School when her children were younger. She enjoyed mending her children’s and grandchildren’s clothing, working in her yard and tending her flower beds, bowling, ironing, baking, reading, puzzles and playing cards. Her greatest pride and joy was spending time with her family. Mrs. Ash loved to attend her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s sporting events and school functions. She was a very kind and thoughtful person, sending cards and notes to family and friends and started the tradition of sending notes in the children’s lunches. Survivors include her children Patricia Prusha of Chardon, Leslie (Barbara) Ash of Chardon, Cheryl Ash of Washburn, WI and Deborah (Gerald) Sykora of Hambden Twp., 8 grandchildren Kimberly (Mark) Avery of Chardon Twp., Todd (Linda) Prusha of Hambden Twp., Laura (Michael) Kobuszewski of Chardon, Edward (Hillary) Ash of Bath Twp., Brian (Wendy) Ash of Munson Twp., Scott Sykora of Chardon, Kevin (Keri) Ash of S. Euclid and Eric (Danelle) Ash of Chardon, 14 1/2 Great Grandchildren and brother Harry Nadack of Georgia. Her husband Harold C. Ash, whom she married September 19, 1942, preceded her in death September 22, 1991. Her parents William and Theodosia (Hollowich) Nadack, sister Mary Nadack, brothers John, Michael and Andrew Nadack and son in law Ron Prusha are also deceased.
