Mrs. Stich worked for Thompson Products, Euclid Valve Division, Cleveland for 10 years. She was a graduate of Collinwood High School and a member of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon. She was a member of the Mentor Garden Club and the Erie Shores Porcelain Artists. Mrs. Stich was talented at china painting and raising house plants. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, nature, watching the birds and animals and until recently had her companion “Jiminy”. Mrs. Stich was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain and spend time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons Timothy H.(Nancy) Rusnak of Orwell, Raymond R. (Sharon) Rusnak of Hambden Twp., Ronald (Debbie) Stich of Mentor Headlands, daughter Katherine Brazytis of Euclid, Brother Daniel Volpe of Willoughby, sister Violet McCullen of AK. She was the Grandmother of 8, Great grandmother of 9 and Great great grandmother of 1. Her 1st Husband Timothy Rusnak whom she married in 1940 died in 1964. She then married her 2nd Husband Joseph E. Stich in 1965 and he predeceased her in 1979. Her parents Herman and Mary (nee: Krizitic) Volpe, brothers Edward, Harold and Herman Volpe and sister Erna Ryan are also deceased.
