Zachary William Maas, age 15, passed away at his home on November 16, 2022. He was born on February 6, 2007, to his parents Kenneth W. Maas and Lea J. Maas.
Zach was a sophomore at Chardon High School. He enjoyed studying history, reading, and French Club. He loved playing video games with friends, chess, and more recently played tennis with the Chardon HS Tennis Team.
Zach was a dutiful son and an excellent student who wanted to become a history teacher. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, witty responses, and insightfulness.
He is survived by his parents and sister, Darcy Maas; grandparents, Becky Romans and Dennis & Nancy Maas; aunts and uncles, Alicia (Tom) Plock and Jennifer (Fred) Maas-Zibbel; and cousins, Harper, Nina, Jakob, and Nickolaus.
The family will hold a gathering, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio.
