Yvonne Henderson, age 85, of Chardon Twp., passed away on January 30, 2022, at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born on November 20, 1936, in Moore, WV, to James and Maude Duckworth. She attended Hackers Valley High School, and married Carl E. Henderson in Oakland, Maryland in 1956. They have been residents of Chardon Township since 1956.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Henderson; daughter Carolyn (Larry) Hunt of Longs, SC, and son William (Jennifer) Henderson of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Melissa (Todd) West of Mentor, Eric (Cheryl) Hunt of Jefferson, OH, Dalton (Nicole) Henderson of Aurora, CO, and Hunter (Tyler) Hennes of Oklahoma City, OK; and sister Barbara Tate of Mansfield, OH. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, 8 sisters and 5 brothers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio 44024. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Larned Cemetery, Chardon Twp. There will be a Reception held at El Patron’s in Chardon after the burial.
