William G. “Bill” Vilfroy of Claridon Township, OH, died unexpectedly on November 17, 2018. “We lost a loving soul.” Bill was born in Cleveland, OH, on May 25, 1957. Beloved son of Beverly L. (Nee: Watson) and the late Richard H. Vilfroy. Dearest brother of Kathleen S. Vilfroy and the late Tommy H. “Tom” Vilfroy (Ute). Devoted Uncle to Brendan, Nicholas and Emily Vilfroy. Bill loved helping his family, friends and neighbors and had a kind and generous heart.

The family will receive friends at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, OH, on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 9-10:30AM, with the funeral service, at 10:30AM. Committal will follow the service at the Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Hts., OH. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 23215 Commerce Park #300, Beachwood, OH 44122. My heart is broken. I’ve just learned of Bill’s passing and I’m in a state of shock and disbelief. He was a dear friend for nearly 30 years. He always gave of himself whether it be a listening ear or a helping hand. They don’t come any better than Bill. I pray for his family and his extended family for peace and strength to help ease the void we all have with his passing.

We cherish the special place in our hearts that will always be reserved by you. We thank you for the gift you were to each one of us. We love you. We remember you. We cherish your generous heart, soul, and spirit.

He was always willing to come up with new ideas in the kitchen. I will forever love and miss my kitchen buddy.
